“Georgia’s FoodPIC Brochure”: FoodPIC provides a range of technical insights to help food companies and entrepreneurs develop viable new products from initial conception, through formulation, prototyping, consumer research, shelf-life studies, and generating Nutrition Facts labels. The Food Product Innovation and Commercialization (FoodPIC) Center assists companies and entrepreneurs in developing new food and beverage products. The Center facilitates the commercialization of food products by providing technical expertise, strategic insights and physical facilities for both start-up ventures and existing food companies. FoodPIC works directly with food and beverage clients to help launch great products by leveraging the technical resources of the UGA Department of Food Science and Technology. Using state-of-the-art facilities, FoodPIC clients benefit from technical insights in the areas of product, process and package development.
